Hoya Halconensis is a species endemic to Halcon, the northern most portion of the mountainous spine of the island of Mindoro, in the Philippines. Fast growing and thirsty, thinner leaved variety which vines and twines up vegetation and trees. The blooms are spectacular… up to 40 individual yellow pubescent flowers per umbel, with a fruity vanilla scent, with subtle spicy undertone. Easy bloomer, almost all year round here on the coast of KZN. **at times confused with Hoya Buotii. which have larger pinkish flowers on a smaller umbel. Leaves are a different shape and size as well.
