Syngonium (Arrowhead plants) are a genus of Tropical plants, Aroids, belonging to the Araceae family. This group of plants is native to the tropical rainforests & Jungles of South and Central America and the West Indies.

Syngonium are creeping epiphytes, often starting out as bushy and compact plants, but as they grow and mature, they develop into vines of branch-less stems with aerial roots at nodes for climbing. Many Syngonium exhibit the trait of variable leaf morphology. The juvenile Arrowhead Leaf morphs as the vine grows, with the upper lobes of the leaf separating into multi-lobed leaflets as the plant matures.

Syngonium are adaptable and can be grown up a trllis or moss pole

Syngonium are known as ‘Feng Shui’ plants and are believed to lower anxiety and stress and bring good luck! The ’Feng Shui’ elements of Water, Fire, Earth, Wood & Metal are said to be symbolized by the five-lobed shape of the mature leaves.
