Ceropegia Linearis subsp. Woodii “Spades” is a tuberous evergreen succulent trailing vine grown in our Jungle Nursery and is native to South Africa.
They are much loved and collected for their distinctive Spade-shaped leaves which are green, succulent like and splashed with a grey silvery variegation along the veining. The undersides of leaves remain green. The flowers form in an umbrella-like canopy and cage in mixture of off-white and pale magenta with five petals in a deep purple.
As the plant grows, the roots expand to form tubers beneath the soil and the nodes swell to form small round ball shaped tubers, along the length of the vine.
