Alocasia Clypeolata is a species of Alocasia native to the Philippines, commonly known as Alocasia ‘Green Shield’ mainly due to the shield-like shape of the leaves, which becomes almost neon green in bright light conditions, providing a great contrast against the pronounced deep green veination.
Alocasia Clypeolata ‘Green Shield’ are grown from corms in our Jungle Nursery, harvested from our mother plant collection.
