Philodendron Squamiferum also known as red bristle is a unique and much loved philodendron grown in our Jungle Nursery and is native to French Guiana, Suriname, and northern Brazil.
This vining and climbing Philodendron is famous for its foliage and fuzzy red petioles. The green leaves are oak-shaped with five lobes. As they mature, the lobes become more pronounced and exaggerated in form, but it’s most recognizable feature are the bright red hairy petioles.
Philodendron Squamiferum certainly has character and may be the perfect addition to your Jungle!
